Baby Girl Saved from Dog’s Jaws

A four-day-old infant girl was rescued from the jaws of a dog on the outskirts of Mahika village near Rajkot on Wednesday. People spotted the stray dog carrying the newborn in its jaws and managed to save her.

“We have booked an offense against the unidentified mother of the baby girl for allegedly abandoning the child. The child has been admitted to the pediatrics ward of Rajkot Civil Hospital,” said C H Asodara, sub-inspector with Aji Dam police station.
