Pfizer And Fauci Are The Most Popular Pet Names In 2021

Did you know that Fauci was one of the most popular pet names of 2021? The name shot up to 270% from 2020. The pet name Covid also vaulted 35%, and dogs named Zoom were up 443% to commemorate a work-from-home life.

Dogs names Zoom deserve extra kudos considering bosses may not know if a worker is with their pooch or computer on the given day. Google and Siri also were technology-inspired pet names on the rise.

Additionally, dogs were named Pfizer and Dr. Fauci for the first time in 2021 after the COVID-19 vaccine dominated headlines across the nation for the better half of the year.

Here are a few most popular pet names of 2021:

Male dogs: Tucker, Teddy, Duke, Leo, Bear, Rocky, Buddy, Milo, Charlie, and Max

Female dogs: Molly, Stella, Bailey, Lola, Lily, Zoe, Daisy, Lucy, Luna, and Bella

Male cats: Jasper, Ollie, Loki, jack, Simba, Max, Charlie, Milo, Leo, and Oliver
