When people focus on Roger Federer, tennis is almost always the subject. But, on Sunday, a dog was at the forefront.
The retired No. 1 players in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings made waves on social media with Instagram posts. Federer told his fans that his family now has a dog named Willow.
“We gave in… ?. But we couldn’t be happier,” Federer wrote. “Welcome to the family, Willow❤️ #delfie ?” Federer’s coworkers, fans, and celebrities quickly congratulated the Swiss. Casper Ruud, who has a dog, made Federer an offer.
“Willow has a friend in @don_bajas if he’s looking for one???,” Ruud wrote.
“Who let the dogs out #nextsong,” former World No. 2 Tommy Haas added.
