Do people who feed stray dogs have to clean up after them?
The subject, which usually sparks a heated debate between animal lovers and those who despise stray dogs, took a violent turn on Wednesday in an apartment in Ramachandrapura, near Vidyaranyapura: A 45-year-old stray dog enthusiast and her neighbor, a 35-year-old homemaker, got into an argument about dog feces and filed police complaints against each other.
The 45-year-old lady initially lodged a complaint alleging that her next-door neighbor and her daughter were dropping dog crap outside her door. The neighbor blamed the lady for harassing them over stray dogs in her counter-complaint.
The women were charged under multiple IPC provisions by authorities.
