The Dog With The World’s Longest Tongue Died

According to Guinness World Records, Mochi “Mo” Rickert, who held the record for the longest tongue on a living dog, has died. The female Saint Bernard’s tongue measured 18.58 cm (7.3 in). For five years, Mochi retained the record.

Mochi was a Colorado rescue dog. She performed in over a hundred locations like schools, care facilities, animal shelter events, and television.

In 2017, Mochi was featured on the cover of the Guinness World Records book “Amazing Animals.”

Carla Ernst, the dog’s owner, claimed in a Guinness video from 2017 that she used Mochi’s favorite delicacy, peanut butter, to demonstrate how much far her tongue could stretch.

“All the water and drool we’ve cleaned up over the last six-and-a-half years was well worth it,” Ernst remarked when Mochi was recognized as a record holder.

Mochi died on October 20^th.
